In this season, the show went back to airing one new episode a week, but stayed in the hour-length format, filling up the second half-hour with episodes from previous seasons and some of the prime-time specials from the 1980s. This entire season, along with the second half of season 6, is available on Garfield and Friends: Volume 5 DVD s et. Also worth noting is that here, a new theme song was added that was wri tten by J .R. Joh nston and Neil Panton. The theme was sun g by J.R . Johnsto n. This the me song wa s not shown internation ally, a nd as a result, it does not appear on the DVDs (al though Garf ield' s quotatio ns are kept intact) . This new i ntroduction s equence used most clips from Seasons 5-7 and a fe w from the first two seasons, as well as Garfield i n Paradi se and G arfield&# 39;s Feline Fa ntasies. The episodes stopped using a fe w second s of the t heme playing in the episode ti tle cards after season seven&a mp;#39;s fo urth episod e; music f rom the episodes were used in the titl e cards unti l the show ended, even though season six u sed music fro m some o f their episod es.详情
