A story about the struggle of th e Interna tional Lady s Garme nt Worker Union (ILGWU) to unioniz e a New York sweat shop, Roxton F ashions, in the Garment District. Lee J . Cobb plays W alter Mitchell the owner of a compa ny that is deter mined to k eep the uni on out of his shop. His partner doe s not agre e, and only wants the w orkers to have a living wa ge.
