This is the first s eason sinc e season 1 to not beg in with men on the blue team and women on t he red team. It is also the t hird of the la st four se asons to fe ature a chef e liminat ed durin g service , the firs t season since seaso n 13 that no chef from the w inning team was eliminated , and the fi rst seaso n since season 12 where two chefs qu it. This i s also the first seaso n to have a chef quit befo re the f inals.
