This is the fir st season since s eason 1 to not begin with men on th e blue te am and women on the red te am. It is also the third of t he last four s easons to feature a chef elim inated during service, the first seas on sinc e season 13 that no chef f rom the winn ing team w as elim inated, and the first season si nce season 1 2 where tw o chefs qu it.
