This season features eight ne w contestants b attling eight ret urning ve terans. Fo r the first t ime, the winn er of this s eason w ill receive a position as an executive che f at Gor don Ramsay Hel l' s Kitchen R estaurant at Caesars Pala ce in Las Vegas, Nevada. Thi s is the fi rst season sinc e season 1 t o not begin with m en on the bl ue team and women on th e red team. It is also th e third of the last four seasons to feature a chef elimina ted during s ervice, the first sea son since season 13 that no chef f rom the winnin g team was e liminat ed, and th e first season since seas on 12 wh ere two chefs quit.
