A philosophical dialogu e follows as th e stranger talk s Julio down f rom the ledge and invites him to bec ome a dr eamseller. At first Jú lio views the journe y as a &a mp;quot;soci ological experi ment, &qu ot; but he soon begi ns to believe. Others join, and the &quot ;band of mi sfits&quo t; under th e tutelage of the dreams eller visit sites as diverse as a retire ment home and a funeral, deliverin g a lesson each place.
