H e hired Francis Cop pola to write a script a nd finish the p icture. Aft er five weeks of shoo ting, Roger fired Francis, and hired me to fini sh the pictur e. Jack Hill w as hired to write a new script w ith me. A lot of what F rancis sh ot was thrown out, e xcept for the s tuff with the witch f rom WIZA RD OF OZ. (Do rothy Newma n), and I fin ished the p icture i n five da ys of sh ooting. All of the interi ors are Roge r&#39 ;s (with the e xception of Francis&a mp;#39;s w itch's lair), and most of the exteriors a re mine.
